What are Scrip and eScrip?

Scrip and eScrip programs provide opportunities for schools to earn money through donations from participating retailers. When you make purchases through participating retailers, they make a donation to your designated school(s) at no cost to you. Donations typically range from 1 to 10%.

eScrip works two ways: 1. register ATM, credit and loyalty cards at eScrip.com and you automatically generate a donation each time you use those cards at affiliated retailers. Our family spent $350 at Market of Choice in one month, earning $10 for our schools. The second, lesser known part of eScrip is the online shopping portal. By starting your online shopping through the eScrip Mall, you can generate donations from Amazon (2.4%), REI (3%), Nordstrom.com (6%), Travelocity (1.8%), Apple or Dell (1.6%), and hundreds of other retailers.

The most well-known local scrip program is offered by Unique Eugene retailers. Schools earn $1 for every $10 Unique Eugene gift certificate they sell.
